Position Summary

The Executive Director of System Imaging Services is a vital leadership role overseeing the coordination and management of Radiology Services across a comprehensive health system. This non-clinical position is ideal for a candidate with a strong understanding of clinical procedures, as it involves administrative responsibility for all aspects of Imaging Services, including policies, procedures, studies, and treatments, while fostering collaborative relationships with physicians, radiologists, and system administration.

The role ensures a well-integrated system for accurate results reporting and appropriate billing practices, as well as upholding staff performance to meet quality standards and compliance with state, local, and federal regulations. The Executive Director is also responsible for maintaining robust safety programs, mentoring team members, and providing system-wide leadership to advance the excellence of Imaging Services. Minimum Requirements

BS or BA in Healthcare Management, Business or Finance required- or higher.

MHA, MBA preferred.

Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA)

Minimum 10 years clinical imaging experience with up to five (5) years experience in senior administration of imaging type services.

Prefer experience in a health system with multiple entities.

Registry/Certification in appropriate modality required.

Problem solving, positive interpersonal skills, capital-operational-incremental budgeting experience, labor relations, Quality Assurance and performance improvement experience and long-range planning.
